The Upper Deck is the first and only B&B in Marazion to have achieved the ‘Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free’ Approved Status

The Upper Deck B&B has been recognised by the Prestigious Alistair Sawday’s B&B Guide as a ‘Very Special Place to Stay’, and has been selected to appear in ‘The Good Hotel Guide’ The Britannia House self catering option has been graded as 4 Star accommodation.

Meet Paul & Alison

Paul and Alison moved to Cornwall in 2011 to own their first B&B having spent most of their working lives in Lincolnshire, and latterly the Falkland Islands where Paul was Chief Police Officer.

Alison has worked as professional caterer since leaving college and very much enjoys cooking, so much of the food served at the bed and breakfast is home made using local seasonal produce where possible.

The Upper Deck is Paul & Alison’s second B&B. Having taken St Michael’s B&B to another level, they moved to the Britannia House in 2016 and have transformed the property into one of the finest B&B’s in Cornwall.

Paul & Alison love living in Marazion as it has such a friendly community and provides them with lots of opportunities to relax and to enjoy outdoor activities including walking along the coast and sailing.

We are delighted to announce the addition of a third member of staff. Meet ‘Betty’ our Labrador who has just started her doggy apprenticeship at the B&B. Betty’s chief responsibilities are to be a cute as possible, enjoy being patted and made a fuss of. Betty keeps a low profile and is not allowed in any of the guest rooms.
